information on George Caviness Cummings

The above subject was assigned to the seebees during World War 11. He was from Lillington, N.C. I am hoping someone will read this that remembers some details about his service. I was only 8 years of age and can very little. He was stationed in New London, Conn. before being shipped to the South Pacific.
