My father was with the 146th on Okinawa, he never said much, I have pictures of him, some of the equipment and a picture of the camp with flag, i guess he was in the motor pool. I have all his documents and patches and id card identifing him as a Seabee with the 146th. I am now a retiring Seabee with 20 years. If you can tell me anything it would be great.

:I served in the 146th and later in the 1061st from 8-28-44 to 2-1-46 aboard the USS Allagan. We were invalved in the invasion of okinowa.We were resposible for the downing of 5 zeros and helped with many more. Is there anyone left that remembers ? Please contact me.
