My father, Julius T.(Dutch)Weidlich, was on Banika with STAG ONE also. He was a LT(JG) or LT at the time. They had a reunion back in the 1980s and I have a coffee cup and t-shirt that he gave me from that reunion. After the war I was born and our first dog was named "Banika". I wish I had more details but unfortunately that is all I know about it.
